The Scottish Rural Awards are the ultimate benchmark of excellence in Scotland’s countryside – a celebration of the enterprise, innovation, dedication and community spirit of those who live in rural Scotland. Now in their fourth year, the Scottish Rural Awards are partnered by Scottish Field and the Scottish Countryside Alliance, in association with the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland.
The 2018 Scottish Rural Awards comprise a diverse set of 13 categories, each one developed to highlight a key industry in rural Scotland. Scotland’s booming hospitality industry is continually growing and developing, with an abundance of high-quality accommodation, dining and leisure options. For 2018, the Rural Hospitality category has been separated from Rural Tourism, in acknowledgement of how these industries operate in tandem.
Duns Castle Estate is among the list of finalists contending this award, the winner being announced in Edinburgh on Thursday 22nd March 2018 at the Scottish Rural Awards ceremony which brings together over 400 representatives from some of Scotland’s most outstanding rural businesses. Fingers crossed!
