Duns Castle to improve your choral skills.
Frances Cooper and Roderick Bryce are both
professional singers with a great wealth of singing
experience, working at the highest levels with some of
the country’s top ensembles and are joined by leading
accompanist Ingrid Sawers.

ON SATURDAY 4TH AUGUST 2012 AT THE BERWICKSHIRE COUNTY SHOW DUNS CASTLE WILL BE TWINNING WITH CASTLE OOIDONK IN BELGIUM (WWW.OOIDONK.BE).

THE TWINNING CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AT 1:30 PM DURING THE SHOW, IN ATTENDENCE WILL BE SENIOR MEMBERS FROM CLAN HAY AND ALSO THE CLAN HAY PIPE BAND.

PLEASE COME ALONG AS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED AND A WORDERFUL OPPORTUNITY

On Monday 2nd July 2012 the Wyndosme Maid of Duns, Claire Wilson was crowned at Duns Castle with her attendants and the 2012 Reivers party, reiver Martin Aitchison, Reivers Lass Claire Whellens, Right hand mand Scott Lackenby, Right hand Lass Iona Gibb.

The Reivers party also attended the castle on Wednesday 4th July 2012 for drinks before riding the bounds.

Are you a budding artist?

Art Amatoria are offering a residential painting and drawing course at Duns Castle on 14th/15th July 2012.

The course is taught by Claudia Petretti. and covers a range of disciplines.

The courses are suitble for all levels and aim to cater for complete beginners to those with much more experiance.

Today at Duns Castle we are welcoming 41 riders from action challenge bikes all raising money for friends of the earth. The cyclist have been on the road since last week and started off in london before heading to edinburgh

Duns Castle will be attending the Kelso Wedding Show on Sunday 6th May 2012 at Springwood Park Kelso.

The show is open from 10am - 4pm.

Borders Artists at Duns Castle

Join us for the fourth annual Borders Artists exhibition featuring over 100 works of art by eleven local artists: Kate Philp, Douglas Davies, William Foyle, Claire Weeks, Susan Mitchell, Amy Marshall, Oliver Reed, Frances Bell, Sarah Dowse and sculptors Angela and Brunton Hunter.
